Over the summer, members embarked on a two month water supply training course along with members from the Kennett Fire Co. (24). Through this course members learned how to create and maintain a water source in various situations. Crews learned about the general operation and purpose of water supply, running water supply from a creek and calculating the flow rate along with the basic understanding of a tanker shuttle. This is a valuable class for our members to partake in with the various areas and situations they are faced with, out on calls.
